Publication Ethics and Publication Malpractice Statement

Scientific Papers. Series E. Land Reclamation, Earth Observation & Surveying, Environmental Engineering adheres strictly to the principles of transparency, integrity, and academic independence. The journal follows the guidelines set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and expects all parties involved in the publication process—authors, editors, and reviewers—to uphold the highest ethical standards.

🔹 Editorial Policy and Editorial Independence

The journal upholds full editorial independence. The Editorial Board is exclusively responsible for managing the peer-review process and making editorial decisions regarding manuscript acceptance based solely on academic merit, originality, and relevance to the journal's aims and scope.

No member of the publishing institution - including the General Editor or Executive Editor - may interfere with editorial outcomes based on institutional, political, or personal interests.

🔹 Separation of Editorial Roles

  • The Editorial Board handles manuscript evaluation and peer-review processes in accordance with rigorous academic standards.
  • The Scientific Advisory Board provides strategic academic guidance but does not participate in editorial decisions or manuscript evaluations.
  • Submissions by editors or authors affiliated with the publishing institution are subject to external double-blind peer review, and such involvement is clearly disclosed in the article upon publication.

🔹 Conflict of Interest Policy

All authors, editors, and reviewers must disclose any actual or potential conflicts of interest, including personal, professional, or financial relationships that could influence the review or publication process. Manuscripts submitted by individuals with potential conflicts are handled by alternative editorial members to ensure neutrality and objectivity.

🔹 Ethical Standards

The journal is committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards and complies with the COPE Core Practices. Issues such as plagiarism, data fabrication, duplicate submission, or unethical research conduct are not tolerated. Each manuscript is screened and reviewed under these principles.
